# Hiring context
X Corp. aims to create an "Everything App," building on its X social media platform to offer a wide range of services including video streaming, article publishing, payments, and job searches. The goal is to create a world where a user's entire daily and business life can be managed through a single app.

Recently, the company began a new initiative to integrate "Grok," a generative AI developed by xAI, into the app to deliver the latest information to users.

Japan is one of the largest markets, viewed by the headquarters as "a market with active and advanced users." In 2024, X established a product development team in Japan to begin creating new features that reflect the voices of Japanese users and advertisers. To accelerate these development efforts, we are seeking highly skilled engineers to join our team.

# About the role
We’re looking for individuals who have built exceptional products and systems at massive scale across multiple domains related to X's platform. We’re bringing and using X’s technology stack to transform our platform into the everything app.

You will work on the team that is responsible for the backend services that power X. The responsibilities may range from core product, API, to ads systems. We focus on writing highly scalable and reliable services that can efficiently process tens of thousands of queries per second. The entire backend stack is written in Rust.
