We are seeking a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer to join our team and work on
開発環境
▼Development Environment:
- Applications run on nvidia-docker from Linux hosts.
- GPUs typically used are high-end GeForce RTX or Tesla.
- Production environment uses AWS EC2 GPU instances.
- VS Code with dev containers is usually used as IDE
- Version control via Git, reviews and actions via GitHub, communication via Slack and Google Meet.
求めるスキル
必須スキル/経験
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computational Science or at least 5 years of practical experience in HPC software development.
- Ability to independently perform software development, debugging, bottleneck investigation, and performance improvement using at least one of the following: Python (NumPy), C++ (OpenMP, CUDA).
- General proficiency with Linux and Docker operations.
歓迎スキル/経験
- Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination (AP)
- Experience in software development related to 3D reconstruction, image processing, point clouds, 2D/3D geometry (triangular mesh), and graph theory.
- Knowledge of major libraries and algorithms.
- Ability to research and apply relevant academic papers to work.
Experience handling large-scale data that requires 64-bit indexing.
- Ability to implement necessary processes concisely in accordance with the conventions of each programming language.
- Ability to identify and report hidden issues from computational results and logs, and resolve them independently or with the team.
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English for communication.
- Note: Fortran, MPI, and industrial supercomputers are not used.
